Instant Oats Dosa

After several trial and error with different ratios I finally got the right texture to the oats instant dosa.Trust me it was so thin, yummy and crunchy like the rava dosa. Everyone at home loved it and it was a hit!

Ingredients:
Quick oats - 3/4 cup
Rice flour -1/2 cup
Rava -1/4 cup

Thick curd -2 table spoon
Pepper jeera powder - 1/4 tsp
Green chilly - 1 finely chopped
Cilantro - 1 fist finely chopped
Ginger -1/2 tsp finely chopped
Water - 2.5 to 4 cups
Salt - to taste
Method:

Dry roast thhe quick oats for 3 to 4 minutes, until nice aroma comes out. Trun off the flame and let it cool .
Grind oats to a fine powder with out water.

Mix oats powder, rice flour and rava with all the other ingredients. Initially I added 2.5 cups of water,
The consistency should be same as the rava dosa.

Heat the griddle and when it hot, pour the batter holding the laddie little higher. You should see lots of holes, which meas you are having the right consistency. Sizzle some oil, cover and cook for few minutes. When the bottom becomes golden flip and cook for few seconds.

After making couple of dosas batter will become thick ( when you pour , you won't see the holes), it's time to add some more water.

Make sure to mix the batter completely before making every dosa.

Serve hot with chutney or Sambar!
